Months before their engagement session, Alissa, her mom, sister and I laughed our way through our first meeting at a local Panera Bread. My stomach hurt from laughing so hard! We talked about everything under the sun and they laughed at all my cheesy jokes. It’s safe to say that we clicked immediately! Alissa & Rich’s engagement session was the first time I had met Rich, but from the way Alissa’s family talked about him, I knew I was going to like him right away.
Alissa & Rich’s engagement session was more like a history walk through Old City Philadelphia! Rich has a infectious passion for Philadelphia’s history and graciously shared it at every chance! Between playful moments with Alissa, he enthusiastically pointed out buildings, statues, parks, and shared a brief historical account of their significance. His wealth of knowledge is incredible!
That’s pretty much how their engagement session went the entire time; laughing, history, more history, more laughing! There was hardly any direction from me at all. Perhaps it’s because they’re both busy bees and Rich travels a bit, so spending quality time together was refreshing. And maybe it’s because their souls are teeming with joy, love, and selflessness that it spills over into their relationship and ultimately those around them.
I hope their engagement session is a preview of how incredible their wedding will be this September! It cannot arrive quick enough!
