Photos are really important to Darlene & Jimmy. So much that they planned an extra 4 hours of photo time into their wedding morning to drive from Normandy Farms out in Blue Bell, PA into Center City Philadelphia to their alma mater, Drexel University. If you want to talk about an epic first look, Darlene descended two white marble staircases in the Grand Hall of Drexel’s Main Building before Jimmy could throw his arms around her! After their first look, we toured the city and stopped at all their favorite spots: Broad Street and City Hall, Mad Mex, Franklin Square, and El Vez for a snack before heading back to Normandy Farms.
The drive back to Normandy Farms brought first for me: the wedding day nap! Stuck in infamous slow-going Philly traffic on I-76 combined with a food coma, crashing from running around the city like crazy and anticipation for the day ahead, Darlene and Jimmy snuggled and nodded off to recharge!
The rest of the day was as perfect as anyone you could imagine! A classy, love-filled outdoor ceremony followed by drinks, smiles, laughter, tears, and a packed dance floor!
